Adventures in Applesauce

Sunday morning was spent in a haze of productivity and contentment. I had a clean kitchen, my morning coffee had been savored, and I had a boatload of apples. I felt the pull of my canner, and knew it was time to make some applesauce. It took a few hours and 14 apples, but I did it. Let me just say that I may need to invest in an apple peeler/corer because hand peeling, coring, and chopping 14 apples takes quite a bit of time. I didn't really mind though because I got to listen to music and pass apple chunks off to my youngest son, who apparently will only eat apples if I need them for something else.
